Co-Founders
Ashton Allen - CEO
Ashton toured away his twenties, playing shows with every great has-been artist of the 1990s. In the summer of 2007, he co-founded Rock Salt with his music buddy Devin (yeah, that guy to the right) with the mission of creating and licensing music for visual and branded content. In 2012, he was also tapped by Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh to lead a music growth and development project in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, and for five years, he lived in a 28’ foot Airstream trailer with his wife, their dog and their cat. Ashton has worked in the music industry for 26 years and is one half of the band, “Rabbit!“, who recently hit #1 for the second time on SiriusXM’s Kids Place Live 13 Under 13 countdown. Ashton is currently attempting to read the top 100 pieces of literature of all time, and enjoys the puzzling game of golf.
Devin Moore - ECD
Devin is a graduate of the University of Florida, School of Music earning a degree in double bass performance. He toured extensively throughout the US in the mid-90’s and early 2000’s with bands that no one knows anymore. He has written some pretty rad songs that have been used by Honda, Crayola, and Samsung, and even wrote the theme song for a one-season primetime hospital drama about tough-as-nails nurses called “Mercy.” His mom likes to call him when she hears him on TV. Devin is currently a member of the strangely addictive, sunshine bubblegum pop band Rabbit! - they do odd things on Instagram every now and again.
